Stoicism in Modern Life
This beginner course explains how Stoicism can be applied to everyday stressors in 2026, including news cycles, social pressure, traffic, and rejection. Students will learn the core Stoic framework—especially the dichotomy of control—and practice techniques such as negative visualization and response planning. The course also develops skills for recognizing impulsive reactions and choosing deliberate responses. After completion, students will be able to apply Stoic principles to daily situations, reduce rumination about the past and anxiety about the future, and build resilience that is not dependent on external circumstances.
